Most cars bore the Honda label which she regarded as not so posh compared to the kind of cars she is used to driving in Nigeria. The recent incarceration of Bobrisky by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has been critiqued by human rights attorney, Festus Ogun. Ogun took to NIS's defense after its officers restricted Bobrisky's movements and denied her from leaving the country without any charges against her. The lawyer stated that it is dangerous to allow such actions to go unchecked since it will mean the end of many freedoms, for instance, for journalists and activists.
