The Winners Chapel, known as Living Faith Church, has kicked off valedictory services for its two retiring deputy pastors, Bishop David Abioye and Thomas Aremu. Both men of God have reached the mandatory age of 60 years in service and are meant to retire from their current position on 15th and 18th October 2024, respectively. Although they are retired, the church has identified 5 areas in which they can still play a role within the organisation. These are written in the church's operational manual, The Mandate. The roles for them are:
Resident Pastor, Oversight Responsibility ,Educational Institution, HQ Role, Revivalists
Tinubu's government has begun selling 50kg bags of rice for ₦40,000.
Dapo Abiodun formally launched the sales of 50kg bags of rice for ₦40,000 in a ceremony held in Abeokuta, Ogun State, assuring that other subsidized food items like garri, rice, and beans would soon be sold to the people across the state. He said that actualizing a systematic structure for ensuring equitable distribution of the goods in all 20 LGAs had been made. Grounds were flagged off on Friday, October 11, 2014, at the Arcade for a project that would serve as a sustainable solution to some of the current socioeconomic challenges facing Abeokuta.
