The FG has clarified that it did not issue a requirement for Nigerians to obtain permission before using the national anthem.
further clarification from the National Orientation Agency said that for one to use the national anthem, there was no need to seek permission from any quarters, rather, the NOA was to avail the right melodies for such purposes. It also called on those producing or using national flags for commercial purposes to approach the agency for the right ones.
