China-sponsored hackers launching sophisticated cyberattacks: Report - Technology News
Chinese hackers have been launching sophisticated cyberattacks to target business and government systems, Wall Street Journal reported. Through newer methods, they have been able to enter networks to spy on victims while remaining undetected.Â
The report said that the findings came from Google’s Mandiant division. The latest revelations say that hackers are targeting devices on the edge of networks, instead of trying to get behind a firewall. These devices are generally not protected by antivirus or endpoint detection software, the report stated.
