A Detailed Account of How Four Bank Hackers Were Caught by the EFCC
The EFCC has confirmed the apprehension of four suspected bank hackers at locations within Abuja in a sting operation. Agency's spokesperson Dele Oyewale stated that these individuals conspired and accessed banking information without permission. The group which was led by one Chima Anthony Nwigwe allegedly managed to withdraw money from unsuspecting customers accounts. The operation is a big one for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in its war against cyber criminals. The accused—Chima Anthony, Effiong Victor, Mohammed Bello,and Daminan Ali.
